B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray Top Mixtape Songs

To some, [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm] came out of nowhere earlier this year when “Nothin’ On You” became a massive hit. But those who have been plugged in know that [lastfm]Bobby Ray[/lastfm] has been huge on the mixtape circuit since 2007. If the first time you had heard of [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm] was the platinum “Nothin’,” let AMP get you caught up before this Thursday’s End Of Summer Switch Party:

“I’ll Be In The Sky” – His first true “single,” and the birthplace of the [lastfm]Andre 3000[/lastfm] comparisons. Check out [lastfm]Bobby Ray[/lastfm] crooning the hook long before he got hooked up with [lastfm]Bruno Mars[/lastfm].

“Haterz Everywhere” – Maybe the most current-sounding representation of [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm]’s Atlanta heritage. This is the type of track that made [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm] such an anticipated new artist in hip-hop circles.

“Generation Lost” – [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm] isn’t just about girls and reminiscing. “Generation Lost” carries a big message – “I used to wear a grill because it was the trend/Not because I liked it, I just wanted to fit in/…/But I was lost, I ain’t know who I was.”

“Lonely People” – [lastfm]B.o.B[/lastfm] flips a [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm] sample for the clubs, ironically rhyming about how the clubs … attract the most lonely people.

You’ve got the album by now (right?!?), and now you’ve heard what came before it. Which B.o.B song do you think should have made it to The Adventures of Bobby Ray?
