If you thought Inception was the breakout movie of the year, you haven’t heard the buzz around the upcoming “Facebook movie” directed by the dark and disturbing David Fincher (Fight Club, Benjamin Button). Months even before its release, Fincher’s The Social Network is quickly making its way to being one of the most talked about films of the year.
Perhaps it’s because it follows the twisting tale about the creators of the networking site millions of people use everyday. Haven’t seen the trailer for the most anticipated movie of the year? What are you waiting for, check it out here!
The movie stars lovable dork Jesse Eisenberg as the face of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, as well as [lastfm]Justin Timberlake [/lastfm] as Sean Parker, Andrew Garfield and Rashid Jones. It follows the main character as he develops the idea for the phenomenon that is Facebook and his pitfalls with friends.
But hey, as the tagline says — “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.” Check out the “creepy” trailer featuring a choir-covered take on Radiohead’s “Creep.”
Oh and if you thought the teaser trailer seemed dark, the film’s music will be scored by the godfather of gloom and doom, [lastfm]Nine Inch Nails[/lastfm]’ Trent Reznor. You’ve never seen Facebook like this before.
