Apple’s discarded stepchild has received a much needed refresh.  Including, updates that’ll improve battery and graphics performance.  Now your battery life will last up to 10 hours and compete with the awesomeness that is the iPad.  Everyone agrees that nothing is worse than when your battery says it has 3-hours of life and then it dies an hour and a half later, so the extra battery life will be really appreciated.

Overall the update looks to improve performance by around 50% with the real winning features found in the new graphics card and track pad performance, which is a bonus for anyone looking to play premium games on their Macbook   Gamers should note that the new Macbook’s and Macbook Pro’s now feature on the fly graphics, switching for extended gaming sessions with enough left over for movies, music and social networking.

Sounds like another great reason to invest in Apple products.  Do you agree or are you staying with your PC?  Let us know in the comments.

F**k APPLE & iPod its all a trend and a waste of $$$. Just like there iPhone y cant you get insurance? Or y r they always behind with the software compared to Droid OS? They just make it fancy looking and put a flashy price tag on it. Overall the PC and Windows knocks it out the park hands down.

I’m more interested in this update than the iPad. On the Macbook, you can install and run software that hasn’t been officially sanctioned by Cupertino. For now anyway.
