“Rihanna Live in London Contest”

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1.      How to Enter the Contest

a.      KAMP FM’s “Rihanna Live in London Contest” (“Contest”) will begin on or around 11/4/2009 at approximately 5pm Pacific Time (“PT”) and end at approximately 11:59 pm PT on 11/8/2009 (the “Contest Period.”)

b.      To participate in the Contest, you may enter via the following method(s):  Listen to KAMP FM during the Contest Period for the cue to call. When the cue to call is announced, listeners must call 877.971.HITS(4487) and be the 20 the caller to win prize, upon confirmation of eligibility. At the time of their call, caller(s) will be required to provide all information requested including their full name, complete address (including zip code), day and evening phone numbers and date of birth in order to be eligible to win.  In the event that the selected caller is disconnected or is found to be ineligible, the next eligible caller that successfully makes it through on the call-in line and completes their call will be a winner.  There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to win, but a listener may be a winner only once.  There will be a maximum of one (1) winner selected on-air during the Contest dates.  The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.  Due to delays in the KAMP FM online streaming of its broadcast signal, listeners to the online stream may not be able to participate in or may be disadvantaged in participating in on-air contests.

2.      Eligibility Restrictions

a.      The Contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and reside in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Nokia, Inc., CBS Radio Inc., KAMP FM (the “Station”), its licensee, and each of their corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. (Nokia, Inc., CBS Radio, and the Station shall be collectively referred to as the “Contest Entities”)

b.      Only one winner per household is permitted in any Contest administered by the Station.

c.      Winner and travelling companion must each have a valid passport at the time of entry.

d.      Winner must show valid government-issued photo identification and sign and return all required releases in order to claim prize.

3.      Prizes:

a.      One (1) Prize: a trip for two (2) for winner and guest (over 18) to London, England from November 14 2009 to November 17 2009  to see Rihanna perform.  Trip will include round-trip coach class airfare for two (2) persons departing from the major U.S. airport nearest to winner’s home (as determined by Administrator), three (3) night standard double occupancy hotel accommodations (one room), and two (2) tickets to attend the private show on November 16th, 2009, venue TBD.  Approximate Retail Value:  $4,000.00, but will vary depending on travel origination and fares in effect at the time of departure.  Certain travel restrictions may apply.  Travel arrangements must be made through Administrator’s designee or agent on a carrier of Administrator’s choice.  No prize substitutions, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Contest Entities.  Prize subject to availability and the Contest Entities reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to award a prize of greater or equal value if the advertised prize is unavailable.  If winner cannot travel on dates specified by Contest Entities, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.  All other costs not specifically stated herein, including, but not limited to, taxes, meals, tips and ground transportation, are the responsibility of the winner.  Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner.  Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents including passports.  In addition, travel companion of Winner must be 18 years of age or older.  Winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Contest Entities have not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance.  Winner and travel companion must sign a Publicity, Liability Waiver and Travel Release form prior to traveling.  If a selected event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, or for any reason beyond the control of the Contest Entities, the Contest Entities’ sole responsibility to a Winner will be to award the remaining available portion of the prize and no substitution will be provided for unawarded portion of prize.  Tickets are subject to terms and conditions as specified by issuer.  Seat locations to be determined by Contest Entities.  Contest Entities reserve the right remove or to deny entry to winner and/or guest if he/she engages in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the concert.

b.      All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. Winner will forfeit prize if not claimed within two (2) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

4.      Selection of Winners

a.      Decisions of Contest Entities management with respect to the Contest are final.

b.      One (1) winner will be selected as described in Section 1b of these rules.

c.      Odds of winning depend on the number and order of calls received.

d.      Winner needs to listen but need not be present to win. Winner will be notified at the time of his or her call.

e.      Winner must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within 48 hours of winning or prize will be forfeited and no alternate winner will be chosen. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.

5.      Conditions

a.      Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner.  The winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station (or any other CBS Radio station in Station’s market) in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more.  Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.  Such winnings of $600 or more will be reported to the IRS.

b.      By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have the winner’s name, voice and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.  

c.      Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station, in its sole discretion, may require Contest winner (and any travel companion(s) or guest(s)) to sign a liability release, agreeing to release and hold harmless Nokia, Inc., the Station, its licensee, each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, their respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives and all of their successors and assigns from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize and participation in the Contest.

d.      If for any reason this Contest cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Station that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, or if the Contest is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest.  If the Contest is terminated before the original end date, the Station reserves the right to select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination time/date or otherwise modify the procedure for selecting winners.

e.      The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Station’s website.  Failure to comply with the rules of the Contest may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes.  If the Station makes a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Contest, the Station reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future Contests and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

f.        The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including, without limitation, the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

g.      The Contest Entities are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest or in the announcement of a prize.

h.      For a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 11/8/2009 to “Rihanna Live in London Contest – Official Rules,” Attn:  Promotions, KAMP  FM 5901 Venice Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90034.  For the names of the prize winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 01/8/2010 to the above address marked “Rihanna Live in London Contest – Winner List.”  The Official Rules and the Winner List (when completed) shall also be available during regular business hours at the main offices of the Station and may be posted online at www.ampradio.com.
