Adam Lambert Sings A Lady Gaga Original

American Idol season 8 runner up, Adam Lambert, surprised fans everywhere when he tweeted about hanging out with Lady Gaga in the studio, recording tracks for his unreleased album, For Your Entertainment. The track was penned by Lady Gaga some time ago, but she offered it to Adam to record.

Adam explained the details via Adam’s Twitter:

Yes it’s true: I spent yesterday in the studio w the insanely talented and creative Lady Gaga recording a song that she wrote! I love her. 

Gaga wrote the song a while ago and she thought it would be a good fit for me. It’s a solo track. I feel so honored and lucky to be asked.

GaGa just gets it, ya know?

Adam did not reveal the title of the song, but we do know that the song was recorded solo, so there won’t be a collaboration between the two there.  However, if this goes over well, hopefully the two will work together again.  Wouldn’t that be just about the most awesome thing to happen to music since…Lady Gaga?

In addition to his solo album, Adam’s first music video has been released.  It’s off the 2012 soundtrack and is supposed to be awesome.  It looks like Adam is making quite the name for himself, and fast!  He already seems like an old pro.

Adam’s solo album is slated for release on November 23rd, which is when Rihanna’s next album goes on sale as well.  Since Rihanna is awesome, there is some curiosity as to what Adam did in the studio for his first post-Idol album.  Who’s album will you be purchasing that day?  Let us know what you think in the comments!
