Lady Gaga not only performed two songs as the musical guest on this week’s “Saturday Night Live,” but she also did a little improv skit with none other than the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna.  During the “Deep House Dish” skit, based on a spoof of an MTV interview show,  two came face-to-face in a divalicious brawl that had the two in a knock-down, dragged out fight.

Madonna & Lady Gaga.

The chemistry between both singers left everyone with the impression that Lady Gaga is more than merely the music scene’s flavor of the week, as she’s now Madonna’s newest play toy!  Perhaps the best part was when SNL cast member Kenan Thompson commanded the duo to “kiss and makeup.”  Check out the video!

Lady Gaga’s skit was second to her musical performances which were literally out of this world.  Gaga wore a sort of intergalactic back brace while singing and I have to say, I am never surprised by her wardrobe choices, especially since I’ve come to terms with the fact that her costume choices always have to blow people away – if they don’t it’s as if she’s failed.  As usual, she was fantastic live, no surprise there.  In case you missed it, check out the video below!

Lady Gaga might be known for being a natural performer, but it takes more than the ability to sing & dance to pull off a skit like she did with Madonna.  Now the big question looms: will Lady Gaga pursue film projects now that she’s got a taste of the acting bug?  There’s only one way to know for sure, and that’s watching Lady Gaga to see what she does next!
