Rihanna Teaming Up With Justin Timberlake

Amidst rumors surrounding her next album, Rihanna’s finally started making big decisions about the direction she plans to go, and more importantly, who’s going to help her get there.  It’s been announced that the “Umbrella” singer has planned to collaborate with pop sensation Justin Timberlake as a producer on her next album.

In addition to Timberlake, it’s reported that the Bajan beauty is also working with U.K. dance duo Chase & Status on tracks for the album. Justin talked with Access Hollywood about the collaboration:

In my opinion, she’s got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record. The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. It’s a little more grown up. It’s got some edge to it!

I’m sure whatever the two work on will end up sounding fantastic.  Alone they’ve each done some amazing things in pop music so I am excited to see what they end up doing together.  Especially since Justin called it more adult & edgy, I can barely imagine what that means, but I know it will be awesome!
