Lady Gaga Responds To Hermaphrodite Rumors

Lady Gaga doesn’t care about rumors looming around the internet calling her a hermaphrodite. The pop superstar apparently cannot be bothered with petty gossip that’s substantiated by the world wide web. She said that she suspects that the story began as a response to her extremely aggressive personality, stating that her ability to transcend gender roles makes her a target for such speculation.

Regardless of this fact, Lady Gaga says that the one who was truly hurt by reports of Lady Gaga being inter-sexed was merely her lady parts:

“My beautiful vagina is very offended. I’m not offended; my vagina is offended,” she said. “I’m not embarrassed – I sold 4 million records in six months; I’m not embarrassed about anything.”

It certainly sounds like Lady Gaga has nothing to be embarrassed about as she’s at the top of her career, doing what she does best. Still, it has to be somewhat hurtful to hear such crazy things being said about you in the media. Although, on the bright side Lady Gaga’s proven that she can handle media scrutiny with class and tact, and what more can you ask from an artist?
