Britney Spears still has a few surprises in store for fans on the second leg of her Circus Tour – she announced former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will be joining her on tour in place of Ciara (click here to watch Jordin’s interview with Stryker when she stopped by AMP Radio!).  Jordin will be joining Britney and fellow opening act Kristinia DeBarge for the show in Los Angeles on September 23rd at the Staples Center, as well as for dates in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit and Chicago.  She will also help conclude the tour in Las Vegas on September 26 & 27 at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Sparks appears to be as excited as her fans about joining Ms. Spears on the road:

“Britney’s show is incredible and for me to be a part of it is a great opportunity,” Jordin said.

Also joining Jordin & Britney will be special guest Kristinia DeBarge. She performs on the Circus tour for all dates, however, Girlicious and One Call will only perform in select cities.

CiaraThere’s much speculation as to why Ciara was replaced, but so far, there has been no answer or reason given for the change.  Why do you think Ciara was replaced?  Would you have preferred her to finish out the American part of the tour, or are you excited to see Jordin step up and take her place?  Let us know in the comments!
