Adam Lambert's Pre-Idol Recordings Released
Adam Lambert might be working with today’s biggest musicians and producers for his next album, but before you hear that album, his earlier work will be released. Lambert recorded a song titled “Want” sometime between 2005 – 2008, and it has been released on iTunes. Adam also worked with Wilshire Records on an 11-track album.
“I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else,” he said. “The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on.”

The folks at Wilshire Records who are releasing Adam’s album called “On with the Show“ disagree with what Adam had to say about the album. In a press release, they said “the vast majority of songs on the album were co-written by Lambert.” They also claim to “not be cashing in on his sudden Idol success.”
