The Lakers sure are making it look easy this time around, beating the Orlando Magic 100-75 and leaving Game 1, 1-0.  After an extremely close first quarter with the Magic leading 24-22, the Lakers rebounded in the second quarter and left the Magic scrambling to try and catch up.  Kobe Bryant played as though it were his last game ever, scoring 40 points with 8 assists, 8 rebounds and 2 steals.

The Lakers

In the third quarter Kobe scored 18 of the 29 points made by the Lakers.  Lamar Odom did his thing as well and had 14 rebounds.  It really seems as though the Lakers are playing the Magic, not just to prove they deserve to win a record setting 10th title, but to erase the disaster of losing disastrously to the Boston Celtics last year.  Now all they have to do is keep winning, which I totally know is possible, right?
