Unless you’re the relation/friend/stalker of some Industry insider and are booked with pre-Oscars parties, here are our picks for more attainable, and aruguably more enjoyable,  weekend nightlife. High heels and frilly gowns optional.

Cameo Bar

Here’s why: The setting is gorgeous (poolside cabanas!), the people are gorgeous, the ocean across the street is gorgeous… And, oh yeah, The Film Independent Spirit Awards are taking place just a block away on Saturday night, so you may get some post-award celebrity-spotting in the bar, as well.  It’s that kind of scene.

Busby’s East
Besides the hotties, 3 bars, 50 flat screen TVs and dance club, they’re also hosting an Oscars party Sunday night ($26 admission), but you can probably watch the festivities from any seat or barstool in the house.
