Just curious, how is the station gonna generate cash flow with no commercial breaks? Or will there be On-Air Talent that will “rent” time to be heard without the interruption of commercials!

I have listened to the station for 4 days now. I haven’t heard anything near 10,000 songs, in fact i keep hearing the same songs over and over andover. Except. Late at night the other day I heard a couple of really cool oldies; Warren G and Nate Dogg, Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. I love the music!!!! But broaden your hroizons a bit more. Stop playing the same stuff over and over.

What happens after the 10,000 songs are played?

& yea, what happens after 10,000 songs? Commercials, the end of the station? If 10,000 songs started mid February, it should almost be over right?

OK, great station, but it needs a bit of tweaking. Keep the latest hits,but add in top hits from 2000 to current. This is the best format possible and that’s missing in LA. The only station to do that is POP2K on Satelite radio. It’s truly the best format that will make everyone happy. NO MORE TWO SONGS DURING THE SAME HOUR, with that range of top hits, you might not hear the same song, but twice a DAY!!

i agree, please don’t play the same song in the same hour, if it’s overplayed, people won’t like it as much.

and as for the song, day and night, you should try looking into the remix, it has more bass and snares

Ummmm does no one else seem to think about what will happen after 10,000 songs are over?….. Radio stations make money from commercials. Maybe they are playing 10,000 songs to hook us all in and then after those 10,000 songs, BAM!! Commercials. Radio Talk Shows. Oh and more commercials. I love the station, but im super worried that after 10,000 songs are up, Amp will turn into kiis fm

I like this station, but I REALLY miss 97.1 FM TALK. Especially Tom Leykis and Adam Carrolla But good luck Amp Radio, and beat KIIS FM, Power 106, and the ever annoying, stupid Latino 96.3.

I just started to listen to this station on Monday March 16, 2009 when i got tired of the other stations and this one came on with good music and ever since i am still listening to it as well as my wife. I changed my presets from power 106 being #1 to number #2 and 97.1 to #1

Starting monday from 3-7pm, you’re not going to have to listen to the same songs ad nauseum as you’re going to have a hot new KROQ alumni named Ted Stryker to “TALK” to you in between songs. Not to worry, as Casey McCabe will keep “TALKING” to you in between songs and commercials from 7pm-midnight. Hey, I guess the 40 plus crowd has to get their talk too!lol

I LOVE your station! Forget about talk radios. Forget about these whiners complaining about “more variety”, “more rock”, “more 90’s”, blah blah blah. Your format is the CURRENT top hits. Go with it! I mean they are TOP hits for a reason people!! I tune in because I can always count on hearing the CURRENT top hits. I don’t want to wade through a bunch of b-sides and oldies-but-baddies to get to Boom Boom Pow and Poker Face! Stick to your programming guns. I am telling all my peeps to turn in to AMP radio.
