They claim they’re the Best Dive Bar in the World.  We could argue, but we won’t.  Because, why?  As LA dives go, they have the best bar-food, happy-hour menu of all time.  (Oh, the sliders!  The sliders!)  If you want a nice cozy corner to put down with your mates and throw back amazingly cheap drinks, great bar food, and — yes — karaoke (but in a good way), or big screen sports or cool dj hours, or just happy flesh-pressing, this is one of the best normal, non-red-velvet-rope watering holes in town.

Totally cool staff, totally cool nice-guy clientele… Totally not a scene.  In a good way.
